Reduce booking uncertainty
Guests want to know what they will get, where it is, how they arrive, what is included, and what happens if plans change. Put room dimensions, beds, bathroom, kitchen, Wi-Fi, accessibility, parking, taxes or fees, check-in, and cancellation information near the booking action.
Do not hide important conditions in a long legal page. Summarise them plainly and link to the full policy.
Show the place honestly
Use current photos of every room type, bathroom, entrance, view, exterior, and the route from the street. Say when a photo is illustrative or a room differs. Guests can forgive a small space; they dislike surprises.
Add a map or clear directions without exposing private information that should not be public.
Make direct booking dependable
Availability, price, payment, confirmation, cancellation, and guest messages must agree. Test a booking from a phone, a different currency or language when relevant, and an edge case such as a failed payment.
If instant booking is not ready, offer a fast, explicit enquiry with a response promise. A broken calendar is worse than a good contact form.
- Room and amenity facts
- Total price context
- Arrival and house rules
- Secure booking or responsive enquiry
Build a relationship after the click
Send useful arrival instructions, local recommendations, check-in support, and a clear contact route. Ask for a review after the stay and make repeat booking easy. Keep profiles on booking platforms accurate and point guests to the direct site where allowed.
Measure completed bookings, abandoned checkout, support questions, repeat stays, and direct share of bookings. Improve the most expensive uncertainty first.
